The ACMA story
The Asia Content Marketing Association was founded around 2011 by a voluntary group of industry practitioners to promote content marketing in Asia. Based in Singapore the group put on regular events to promote the industry. In 2017 the board held a series of lunches with senior industry practitioners and determined one of the biggest problems facing the industry was a lack of cohesion and professional development. From that the Asia Content Marketing Association Limited Pte Ltd was born as an incorporated company limited by guarantee - which essentially means it is a not-for-profit entity.
ACMA's goal is to encourage professional development through regular networking and thought leadership events, training and other outreach opportunities focused on content marketing.
